When I see old movies with women in floor-length dressing gowns, or when they’re going to the store and they’ve got a pillbox hat with a net over the eyes and white gloves, I’m offended that I can’t go to the store like that.

Why can’t you?
Why can’t Blake Lively, is perhaps more the question. I don’t think anyone would put it past me.
I think we would see class if women would do that and it would turn a lot of heads, hopefully in a good way 🙂
It would certainly add a bit more fun to the grocery shopping!
By the by, I tried commenting on your post about Trivial Pursuit (my favourite!) but the comment wouldn’t post. I’m not sure if the problem is at your end or mine.
I will send you some nice white gloves… how long do you want them to be for up your arm? There’s a Selfridges here… bound to have some nice ones! 🙂
I feel I should point out that this is a quote from Blake Lively, not from myself. Not that I would object to a slightly dressier lifestyle, but white gloves seem impractical for anything but pale embroidery and directing traffic. Though maybe not at the same time – could lead to snarl-ups in more than one sense.
