Upskilly & Stuff 6: The Dressing-Gown

Sometimes you stitch the project up… and sometimes the project stitches you up. I struggled long and hard with finding motivation for this project, and I think it was largely because it’s so very much a draft copy or ‘wearable toile’. The fabric is so old and worn and it sheds white fluff like there’s no tomorrow.

What’s It Called?

It has a back, two fronts (overlapping), two arms, usually a belt of some sort round the middle, and often pockets. It comes in all sorts of materials, from light and thin to warm and snuggly.Continue & Comment

Are Cats Really Dragons?

It may not be the most obvious of links, but then, one does not immediately think of ferocious dinosaurs when considering a chicken. Nor does one immediately think of feathers when considering a ferocious dinosaur. Let us review the evidence.

Anatomy
Consider the dragon. (You don’t have one to hand? Imagine, then.) Four legs, yes? Claws, fangs, long lashing tail.
