What I want to know is, why has he still not been knighted for services to humanity (most notably the females-of-childbearing-age chunk of humanity) – said services taking the form of discovering ibuprofen?
He’s possibly been offered one and declined. But yes, good question. How would we cope with recovery from injuries, and the general aches and pains of maturer bodies, without this invaluable drug?
Apparently the WHO consider it an Essential Medicine, and I can’t find it in my heart to disagree.
