On the 11th of October 2020, I started playing around with a new idea for a book. One thousand, two hundred, and twenty-nine days later, that book is on the cusp of taking physical form. Mere minutes ago, I ordered the proof copy – the first of what will hopefully be many copies to be printed.
And what, I hear you ask, will it look like? Behold!!
But wait – there’s more! As well as this splendiferous front cover, there is also the tantalizing prospect of a spine and a back cover, each with excitements and delights of its own.
I did a bit more twiddling of the cover image for this book than previously, but as always, the delectable cover typography (I love those falling leaves!!) is by the fearsomely talented Eve Doyle.
How soon can you yourself get your hands on one of these exciting front-back-and-spine-having books? The release date – for both paperbacks and ebooks – is set for March 21st (four weeks from now), and there are more exciting developments underway in the ebook arena, following last month’s Shocking Developments.
Stay tuned!
Woohoo! Well done! Can’t wait to hold a copy in my hot little hand and read it from one end of the awesome cover to the other 🙂
Thanks! Same here – the hot little hand bit, anyway. I’ve read it a time or two already…
This will be a welcome addition to my library. I look forward to standing it on the shelf beside its older book siblings. And reading it again in its final form.
Congratulations!
Thank you! Having seen the spine, I think it will look rather nice on the shelf. A fitting companion to its predecessors!
