If there is evidence that the EG won’t have his head lopped off for bad advice I might go with that. I didn’t see that evidence on Wiki. Otherwise I’d probably go for the maid. She gets fed and sleeps in fairly decent chambers and there is little expected of her other than mopping the floor. In an almost inevitable uprising no one is bothered about the maid, she is invisible.
Ah, yes. Maids never get assassinated: it’s one of the perks 🙂
