I don’t know what your plans were, but 2015 was going to be my Year of Finishing Things, and by golly, I finished a thing.
What about 2016? What’s your theme this year? Or, if you’re not that keen on having a theme, how about a theme song?
Old-Fashioned Fruitcake
My word for the year is spark and my phrase is new things. It will be a year of doing the things that make me come alive and the things I want to do but have been too scared to do. Not sure of a theme song. What about you?
A word for the year… I like the idea. Well done on choosing to do those things which challenge you but bring you alive! As for myself, all will be revealed later this week 🙂
Hmm… The Year of… Commitment perhaps. Following through and doing what I say I’ll do – for myself. I always do what I say I’ll do for others… I need to get better at borders and boundaries and committing to my own creative endeavours!!
Absolutely! Love others AS you love yourself, remember – not more than, or instead of loving yourself.
My expression for the year is “This is my circus and these are my monkeys”. It’s a year for taking control and achieving what I want in my show.
I love it! I picture you in a ringmaster’s uniform – splendiferous!
2016 is brought to me by the words Almost There, and the feeling you get when you’re swimming up from an ocean floor, and your lungs are burning…your brain is screaming…but the surface and the sky are JUST there…Almost There…so you find reserves to keep going, after all.
I’m waiting for my younger child to turn three, because I recall parenting the elder one got immeasurably easier after he turned three—he became sufficiently able to reason and communicate, then. The younger one is still entropic anarchy, but he turns three in August. And so, I wait, and I keep swimming up.
Entropic Anarchy… now why didn’t you name him that when you had the chance? 🙂
Hang in there – this too shall pass!
